Our client requires a chartered engineer, to work in an established Infrastructure, Transportation and Environment Group in their Leeds or Manchester office. The key requirements of a Engineer are:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters degree in Engineering (MEng), or not less than three years relevant working experience
Recently chartered or working towards chartership
Good computer IT skills
Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients.
Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situations.
Details: Working within a small team based in our Leeds or Manchester offices, you will need to be able to work under pressure, use your own initiative and quickly build-up contacts within other disciplines. The work undertaken will be very much design driven with an emphasis on high quality solutions delivered to time and budget. You should have previous experience in one or more of the following: Infrastructure, Transport, Traffic, Highways and Water. A broad base of experience is desirable with specialist skills in particular areas will be valued. The candidate will ideally be flexible and adaptable and able to apply engineering training to work in a wide range of project work
